FHS is a leader in Small Unmanned Air Systems technology with an emphasis on research, evaluation, and systems integration. FHS technology mobile UAS center creates an intelligent, information-rich modeling and simulation environment to evaluate new UAS technologies that can be developed, verified and virtually "deployed" inside the center. These UAS technologies can then be demonstrated in the field with trained UAV Operators. The center located at FHS in Augusta Kansas helps to meet the national objective focused on the integration of UAVs in the National Air Space (NAS) while dramatically increasing the quality of decision data necessary to evaluate DoD and Homeland Security threats as well as emergency response to natural disasters.
